1. Brief Introduction Shanghai is located at the spot where the Yangtze River enters the East China Sea .It is the largest metropolis and one of the ancient cultural cities of China. It is known worldwide for its highly developed industry, commerce, and finance and its sea transportation, rich tourist resources, variety of food, and recreational facilities.

2. Local Culture
Originally, Shanghai was a small seaside fishing village and it became County status on August 19th, 1291 during the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368). Hence this day became the anniversary of the founding of Shanghai. Today's Shanghai is a multi-cultural metropolis with both modern and traditional Chinese features.As the largest base of Chinese industrial technology, the important seaport and China's largest commercial and financial center, shanghai draws the attention of the whole world.

6. Climate
Shanghai experiences all four seasons. Spring starts in March, summer in June, autumn in September and winter in December.

Spring is the most beautiful season, although with frequent rain.summer is tourism season but it’ too hot.altumn is generally dry and sunny.
7. Attraction
The Bund
The Bund ,the city's main attraction which is the classic image of Shanghai. Wallking along the western side of the Huangpu river, the majestic buildings date back to Shanghai's grandest days. The Bund is packed with classic architecture. Buildings include, the old Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank, the Customs House and its landmark clock, the Bank of China and the Peace Hotel.
Yuyuan Garden
Yuyuan Garden is a traditional Chinese park complete withgracefull pavilions, miniature lakes, bridges and rock formations. This small park is located in the heart of Shanghai's old Chinese quarter and links to Yuyuan Market,built in 1559, in the Suzhou style .
Huangpu River Cruise
Huangpu River joins 29 kilometers (18 miles) north of downtown Shanghai and divides Shanghai into two parts, east and west. Cruises are available everyday, including the shorter cruises and the complete cruises. Whether it is in the daytime or at night, the views along the river are wonderful.
Oriental Pearl TV Tower
The Oriental Pearl TV Tower located in Pudong, stands a staggering 468 meters (1535ft) which make it the tallest tower in Asia. Tourists can go to several observatory decks and in clear weather can get a splendor view of The Bund and Shanghai, as well Sheshan, Chongming Island ,the Yangzi River in the distance. The tower also has a revolving restaurant, hotel, karaoke parlors and bars.
