The Temple of Heaven was the place for the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties worship Heaven and pray for bumper harvests. The whole area is 273 hectares. it was recognized by the UNESCO as “the world heritages”.
The special feature of the layout of the Temple of Heaven can be simply summarized in three sentences:one,three,five,seven,nine;square south and circular north;worship heaven at the open space in the forest.
